A key milestone for arrowUp was the equity participation by the Greek company, Inform P. Lykos S.A. Lykos Paperless Solutions (LPS) – a subsidiary of Inform P. Lykos S.A. - took an equity stake in arrowUp in November 2006. Lykos delegated two members to sit on the Board of arrowUp and, vice versa too, arrowUp has a representative on the Board of LPS.

With that move, arrowUp secured the necessary funds to implement its expansion plans. For Inform P. Lykos S.A., the synergy of this alliance lies in the securing of additional know-how in the field of smart card applications and loyalty card programs. In addition, this tie-up also gives Inform P. Lykos S.A. the opportunity to land fascinating IT projects for modernizing the public sector in Greece and in other countries too.

About Lykos

Inform P. Lykos S.A. is active in the field of Information Management and Business Communication Services. From its beginnings in 1897 as a Greek family-owned business, it has grown a successful group of 7 dynamic affiliates with a combined total of around 1 000 employees.

The focus of Lykos’ core business is on commercial printwork, including the management and processing of print-ready data. It also prints company- and car registration documents, boarding cards, lottery forms, and bank- and loyalty cards. The group also supplies hackproof print-ready materials, e.g. banker’s drafts, bonds, share certificates and fiscal bands. Lykos Paperless Solutions (LPS) is a 100% subsidiary of Inform P. Lykos S.A. LPS has developed bespoke software for the electronic billing of Wind and the loyalty card schemes of Shell and Stihl, among other things.
