Kortrijk Gift Voucher

In the presence of Minister for ICT, Vincent Van Quickenborne (Open VLD), on  October 13th, 2010 in the Kortrijk Budascoop the Gift Voucher was presented. With the use of NFC (Near Field Communication) vouchers can be activated, issued and redeemed. The idea of a general Kortrijk gift voucher arised a few years ago. Among other initiatives, such as hiring a center manager, this new concept once again provides an incentive for the Kortrijk shops.

On Saturday, November 27th, the first gift vouchers were sold, again with Vincent Van Quickenborne as an enthusiastic spectator.

Smart Purse and Security System (customized S-PASS integration)

• arrowUp developed S-Pass, a multifunctional system that links multiple applications:
  • Logical and Physical Access Control, secure login, time registration, password management and single sign-on, digital certificates for legal signatures, cashless payment, etc.
• For EC-TECH, the system has a Web interface to create an identification card, allows physical access to a copycenter and a virtual purse to pay for print jobs.
• Documents can be uploaded at home, and then with follow-me-printing they can be printed on arrival at the copy center.
• The 'virtual purse can be charged in the shop, or 24 / 7 at the kiosk in the copy center.

One of the founders of arrowUp wrote the Belgian Pharmacy Application (BPA) for the Gemplus GCR750 and Monetel Twin10 (Belgacom terminals).
